Preparing for the SEAG entrance assessments can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re not quite sure what your child needs to know, how to support them at home, or where to even begin!

My aim is to take away some of that guesswork and help you feel more confident and informed as you support your child through their SEAG English preparation.

I’m Lauren McCallum, founder of Learn with Lauren, a primary tutoring and sensory storytelling service in Northern Ireland. I’m passionate about making learning clear, engaging and confidence-boosting.

SEAG ENGLISH with Lauren is a digital programme designed specifically with parents of children in Primary 6 or Primary 7 in mind. It explains the key areas of the SEAG English assessments in a clear and accessible way, helping you understand what your child may encounter and how you can support their preparation at home.

This programme does not include practice papers. Instead, it focuses on helping parents understand the English assessment, what the different areas involve and how to approach preparation with greater clarity and confidence.

Simply work through the videos and notes at your own pace, dip back into the resources whenever you need to, and use the Tutor Tips to help guide your child’s preparation.
